Winter Haven

Winter Haven, Florida is an aptly named city in Central Florida’s Polk County, known for its canal-linked Chain of Lakes. In all, 50 lakes lie within the borders of Winter Haven. Four distinct historic districts remind residents and visitors of Winter Haven’s storied history: Interlaken, Pope Avenue, Winter Haven Heights, and downtown. Winter Haven is home to Legoland Florida, and the attractions of the Orlando and Tampa areas are a short distance away, including Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, and Busch Gardens. The subtropical climate of Central Florida provides great year round weather, especially in winter, hence the name of Winter Haven itself.
